A Glimpse at Our Wedding

Our wedding summary_Pinterest

It’s been nearly a month and a half since we said “I do,” and I still find myself overcome with emotion when I think of our wedding day. Not sappy reflections, but humbling gratitude for the man that I married and the friends and family that surrounded us and just poured on the love.

April in Detroit is notorious for its fickleness, and yet, we were blessed with full sunshine and unseasonably warm temperatures that settled in the high 70s – an honest miracle given our volatile spring.

And if that weren’t enough, every detail that we’d planned for the day came together smoothly, creating an end result that was far greater than the vision I’d dreamt up.

In one word, it was happiness.

Here, I’ve included some of the snapshots from our photographer, which help to illustrate the setting and the vibe, which was intended to be classic and romantic, yet not at all stuffy.

While not every vendor is depicted in these photos, I’ve included a list below for reference.
